Zoo Guest COVID-19 Safety Guidelines Update: In compliance with the mandate set forth by Hamilton County, masks will not be required in any indoor or outdoor spaces. Masks will be strongly encouraged in all indoor spaces and when guests cannot properly socially distance themselves from other parties in outdoor spaces. Masks will be strongly encouraged, but not required, during train rides, camel rides, and giraffe feedings. All WILD Encounter participates will be required to wear masks during their program.

In order to ensure your visit is safe, enjoyable, and that social distancing guidelines are met or exceeded, we have made a few adjustments to the admissions experience.

  • Online Ticket Purchase - All non-member ticket purchases are encouraged to be purchased online. Tickets will be sent to your email in a PDF attachment. Tickets can be printed off or scanned off your phone. With the lovely Spring weather we've been experiencing, walk-up tickets may not be available.
  • Zoo Members are not required to reserve tickets online, but please have your membership card or confirmation of membership purchase ready to be scanned.
  • Quick Scan Zoo Entrance - We will have 2 gates open for quick scanning of your tickets. Please have your Print At Home tickets out facing the attendant. For mobile tickets on your phone, please have your tickets displaying on your phone as you approach the Quick Scan attendant.
  • All indoor buildings, zoo rides, experiences, and the Nature Play are now open.
  • Food & Retail - We will have drinks, snacks, Dippin' Dots, and some retail offerings available as we see appropriate.

Our first priority is your safety. Please note, these precautions are TEMPORARY. As guidelines are updated and relaxed, we will also edit our visitor guidelines.

Our animals & staff miss you and can't wait for your next visit!
