January 10 – Amazing Adaptations (part 1) (registration deadline January 9)
Animals have some amazing adaptations that help them survive. Find out which
adaptations we humans have that are the same or different from other animals - you
might be AMAZED!
February 14 – Amazing Adaptations (part 2) (registration deadline February 13)
Part two of this exciting adaptations series.
March 13 - World of Water (registration deadline March 12)
About 70% of planet Earth is covered with water and all living things need water to survive - but is there enough clean, fresh water to go around? In this lesson, we will look at the amount of water available, how much we use and how that affects other animals that must rely on it to survive.
April 10 – Suitcase for Survival (registration deadline April 9)
Animals are threatened with illegal hunting, habitat destruction and the exotic pet trade. As a
result, rare animals are becoming even rarer and in danger of extinction. We will investigate
these issues and learn what some organizations are doing to help stop the loss of rare
animals.
May 8 - There's a Rainforest in My House? (registration deadline May 7)
There is! Really! You might not realize it but you have many things in your house that have
come from rainforests. We will play detectives and find the hidden rainforest items you may
have lurking in your house.

All classes provide students with the opportunity to explore animal and biological topics, meet live animals and participate in fun educational activities.
*Please Note: Classes are designed for specific age groups of children who are able to successfully participate in the programs without parental involvement. Parents and siblings may tour the zoo while your student is in class.
