Nigalya the Red Panda

The 15 year old Nigalya is one of the best known and most loved animals at the Chattanooga Zoo. Unlike most red pandas, Nigalya enjoys interacting with humans and other animals. You can often find him taking walks with his keeper around the Zoo to visit his animal friends. While he eats an awful lot of bamboo, the quickest way to Nigalya's heart is through grapes or grape jelly.
