Let your kids go a little wild on their birthday, and let us take the stress out of planning a party! At the Zoo, you'll have the best party in town as you view red pandas, giraffes, jaguars and many other amazing animals. The only thing you’ll need to do is invite the guests and show up!

Important Party Details:

  • Birthday parties are held in a large, jungle-themed room in our Education Center.
  • All party packages include admission for 30 guests, but the space can accommodate groups of up to 45 guests for a small additional cost of $10 per attendee over 30. This additional fee may be paid to your party host on the day of your party.
  • Birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays only.
  • Zoo Members receive $30 off party packages. Use code HAPPYBIRTHDAY when booking to receive your discount. Membership will be verified, and unauthorized use of discount code may lead to your party being canceled. Not a Chattanooga Zoo member? Click here to learn more about memberships!
  • You can add giraffe feedings, train rides, carousel rides and gift boxes to any party package. Just let your party host know on the day of your party! See below for pricing and more information.
What's Included
  • Use of the Zoo Birthday Party Room for 90 minutes
  • 30 minute set-up time prior to the scheduled party time
  • 20 Zoo-themed birthday party invitations
  • All-day Zoo admission for 30 guests
  • 6 6ft rectangle tables with green table covers
  • 30 white plastic chairs
Additional Information
  • Balloons, plastic straws, and confetti are not allowed for the safety of our animals.
  • Note: All animal exhibits close at 5pm daily.
  • All birthday parties must be booked at least two weeks in advance. All date changes and cancellations must be fulfilled at least 3 weeks in advance and are subject to a $25 change fee. Date changes and cancellation requests fulfilled within three weeks of the party date are non-refundable.
  • Birthday party packages are offered on Saturdays and Sundays only from 10:00AM-11:30 AM, from 12:30 PM- 2:00 PM, and from 3:00 PM- 4:30 PM

Add-Ons

You can add some very special activities to your party! Add-ons include train rides, carousel rides, giraffe feedings and gift boxes. You are able to add these on the day of your party. Simply let your party host know, and they can assist you with your purchase. These add-on activities can occur before, during or after your party. Please note that giraffe feedings and train rides are weather dependent and may not be available during your party time.
