Welcome to Zooniversity, the wildest homeschool class in town! You will meet some of the world’s most fascinating wildlife face to face while learning from our amazing staff of educators and zookeepers! Each class is an hour and thirty minutes long and includes educational activities, crafts, and games. The topics for Fall 2026 will be Zoology for kindergarten through 8th grade students and Cell Biology for high schoolers.
Parents dropping off their children are welcome to leave the Zoo or wait at the picnic tables near their child's classroom. If you have a Zoo membership you are welcome to tour the Zoo during your child's class time. However, if you are bringing additional family or friends not on a membership please come in through the front to purchase tickets.
*Please note that our Tuesday K-2nd and 3rd-5th classes are now offered simultaneously in the morning and the afternoon, just like our Thursday classes! In addition, the Tuesday classes are the same lessons as the Thursday classes, just a different day! Whichever day you choose, you will be in that class the entire semester. Due to spacing you will not be able to switch between class days.
