Teens
We have multiple opportunities for teenagers interested in animal care and conservation!
Teen Conservation Clubs
Middle and High School students only
Teen Conservation Clubs are hands-on programs for teens who want to learn more about animals and conservation while getting involved in meaningful, real-world work.
We meet once a month, with additional opportunities for members to participate in projects and experiences throughout the semester.
Each term, we focus on a different conservation topic and explore how our actions can make a positive difference both locally and globally. We also dedicate one meeting each semester to zoo careers and the many ways zoos contribute to conservation, animal care, and education.
Application deadline is April 17
Due to the large number of students interested in this program, Teen Conservation Club is competitive. Students who would like to be considered should complete the application using the buttons below. Participants will be required to complete 6 volunteer hours per semester. See the Program Guide above for more information.
Selected applicants will be notified in early May for the fall semester beginning in August.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Members must be in Middle School or High School and be able to work independently.
Both clubs meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:00am - 1:00pm, unless otherwise noted for special trips etc.
Registration is per semester. Spring runs Jan - May and Fall runs Aug - Dec.
